Jan. 20th, 2007 01:59 amThey cancel the convention that I can go to, and was mercifully close, and then get great sounding guests for the con that there is no way I can make it to. (I say great sounding, because I've only been to the one convention, so I can't judge.)
However, since we've been doing a lottery thing at work where we put in so much per drawing, I can at least hope that we win the jackpot. Sure, it'll be split 14 ways, but it's still a big jackpot. I'm dutifully keeping my fingers crossed, even though the odds are abysmally low. Still, I can dream.
It would be awesome if I could go to the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in Chicago next month as well. Just to people watch would be nice.
