One of the only things that have ever, or probably will ever, bother me about where I work, is that the majority of the people I work with everyday are bigots and/or homophobes. The use of the "N" word is fairly common. And the discussions that have been raised by the release of Brokeback Mountain (which I want to see, btw) tend to make me kind of nauseous.

I hate living where I do, because most of the people that surround me are very closed-minded individuals, and the atmosphere is usually stifling.

It just bothers me, is all.

Something else that twinges at my conscience a bit...and I'm not saying it to be facetious or anything like that...but I read all these great fics by these amazingly gifted (to me anyway) writers, and I sit and feel kinda guilty cause I know I can't write worth a damn. Is that odd, or what?
