I absolutely hated my birth name when I was a kid.  I don't even remember why anymore.  I think I was pissed because I thought my mom had named me after a plant.  I really didn't like it in high school, when there were at least four other girls with the same name.  But I've gotten used to it.

Hell, more than that, I like it.  It is me.  Even if I had the chance, I wouldn't change it for the world. :)
