(no subject)

I got attacked by an idea while trying to go to sleep.  End result, me writing things down before I was allowed to sleep.  I just knew that if I didn't write it down, I would completely forget.  End result is a one shot that I'm still putting finishing touches on.  I had forgotten how much I liked writing, when I didn't have to do it for anything but fun.  ^_^
The A/C decided to crap out on us.  It does not make for ideal living conditions, since I get very very cranky and bitchy when I'm too hot.  My mother is the same way.  We've pretty much been trying to avoid each other as much as possible.  Hopefully we can get someone to come out and fix it, and it won't cost us an arm and a leg.  I am not going to hold my breath.  I have a bad feeling about this.  >_<

Btw, anyone know what the hell is up with LJ?  I've got the number of entries on my flist page fixed, but 85% of the time I try to open an LJ link in another tab, I get an error page.  Specifically problem loading pages that say server not found at whatever page I'm trying to look at.  And it's only happening when I'm browsing things on LJ *cough*5.22 codas*cough*.  Sometimes I have to click reload five or six times before it'll load. 

Anyone else having this problem, or maybe know how to fix it?
