Mar. 24th, 2007 03:15 pmLife is moving at a comfortable place for me. While I've been online with some degree of regularity, I haven't really paid much attention to fics or anything. Although I am almost caught up with Anum Cara. :-D I've just been reading those on my friends filter, and occasionally commenting.
My wisdom teeth were extracted last week, and I'm doing pretty well with it. The first few days were rough, but I'm handling it pretty well I think. Still trying to stick with the softer foods, and with any luck, I'll lose some weight in the process. I do lament not being able to chow down on salads yet. Out of all the things I don't want to risk eating, I miss those the most. I'm hoping that the change in diet will continue, and will get better as time passes.
I'm going to be reconnecting with an old friend I haven't seen in close to 4 years, and I'm thrilled. I know we've grown apart, but I hope that we find that things haven't changed that much. She has been a very dear friend for many years, and I would like to keep it that way.
I'm also hoping that I can reconnect with and spend more time with other friends, although I'm not going to count on some of them. I've been living life in the work, sleep, repeat cycle, and I think I want to stop and smell the roses a bit more often. I think I've earned that much at least. In that vein, I'm going out tonight to see Chicago at the Morris with a friend. I've been cooped up for a good three weeks, so I'm really looking forward to it.
On that note, I should haul my lazy bones away from the computer so I can get ready. Have a great weekend everyone!
