wow. and not a good wow.
Jan. 5th, 2007 02:27 amIn Memory of Kim Pickell
I may have only met her once or twice, and not known her very well, but she made an impact, no matter how large or small. She and her family were the ones that fostered our dog Harley before we adopted him. From what I could tell, she was a kind woman, with a huge heart for animals. I know that she volunteered at Pet Refuge, which is where we found Harley, the big baby that he is. One of the times that we took him there, she was surprised that he remembered who she was, and just couldn't get over how big he had gotten, and how loveable he was.
I had been meaning to take Harley to see her, but life got in the way, and I never got around to it. I'm sorry that I never found the time. :(
If her family should find this entry, I am so sorry. She will be missed.
Rest in Peace, Kim.

A recent picture. To be honest, a picture doesn't do him justice.

And Harley with our other dog Leo.
