My mother made an astute observation today. She remarked that I have been "on the go" ever since I got back from my vacation. I hadn't even realized it, but she's right, I have been.
So instead of going to the hog roast that a couple of coworkers were having today, I stayed home. Despite the siren call of their margarita machine.
I suppose it's a good thing I did stay home, because my dad and half brothers came over. I haven't seen them for at least two months.
I entertained them with the audio of Sean telling the spider story and singing the dirge. I still haven't gotten prints of the pictures, but I'm working on it.
I feel bad about not going to the hog roast, but I think that taking a time out, so to speak, will be better for me in the long run.
