Aug. 9th, 2006 01:47 amPoor Leo! He somehow injured his paw yesterday while I was at work, and now he won't even walk on it. We thought that he might have stepped on a bee, since his paw is swollen, but he won't even let us look at it. He actually growled at me last night when I tried to look. The parents gave him a Benadryl to try and help with the swelling (just in case it was a bee), but no dice. It just made him touchy. Well, touchier.
So it will be a phone call to the vet in the morning, and hopefully they'll be able to get him in Thursday or Friday. I'd like to get him in sooner than that. :(
Poor baby!
I would love nothing more than to crawl into bed....but I have to meet that lady in 15 minutes so she can show me the route. Hopefully it won't take too long. If I am not in bed when the sun comes up, I think I will turn into a squash. (not a pumpkin, cause the midnight hour doesn't affect me.) *yawns hugely*
ETA: We were able to get him into the vet today. I can't be there, since I have to work, but at least he's going to get checked out.
And there is no way that I'm going to do that route. Admittedly, it only takes roughly two hours a day, but I don't think I can do it. I'm so tired right now I can barely see straight. Could someone kindly hook me up to a caffeine IV? Please?
