Yes, I'm posting again. So sue me, I'm bored.

So, it's going to run me somewhere in the ballpark of $150 to get that part put in, and to get the belt replaced.  The only downside is that the mechanic can't get the car in until Wednesday, so I'm forced to rely on others so I can get to and from work.  This really really grates on my pride.  But I guess I'll have to swallow it for a couple of days.  I've got a ride to work set up for today already, but the lady didn't sound happy about it.  She was trying to get me to go to another mechanic (who employs her son-in-law), but I said no way in hell after I found out that he'd be charging me roughly $30 more.
I have to pay half of the bill in order to be able to use my car.  Which means post dating a check or two.  Either way, this is going to hurt me in the next couple weeks as far as my other bills go.
