snarry_olympics, kitcat72's Anum Cara, and Dark Angel by eriador117. I deserve to be flogged with a wet noodle.
I had the best night's sleep that I've had in over a month the other night, following a massive fight with my mother. Mostly because all the things that I said have been stewing inside my head for quite a while, and it was a relief to get it out. Resentment still lingers, but that's mostly because she still just doesn't get it. It's not too bad right now, as I am no longer on the verge of taking my name off the house, moving out, and sticking her with the house payment.
I've also managed to order my bridesmaids dress for my best friends wedding. It's going to look mostly like this, if not exactly.
I also managed to sell something on ebay, so I'm not as worried about funds for my vacation and ELF. They're still woefully deficient, but not as bad as they were. Thanks be to the person whose bid earned me a fat $113. :D I can't believe ELF is so close!!! A bit more than 2 months!! *bounces* I was looking at a temporary (for me) part time job at UPS as a package handler, but I'm not sure that I'd be able to lift and move 70 lbs. I could always try lifting my dog, but a package isn't as likely to squirm as a dog is. O_o
Fighting aside, it's been a relatively good week.
I did start writing a Snarry a few weeks ago....I got a pretty good way into it, and then I stopped. I think I really need to finish it, if only becauseladyredtemper said what I had was good. I don't know....I'm not a very good judge of my own writing. *shrugs*
