Apr. 18th, 2006 01:29 amjust a mini rant here....why is it that when I say I was planning on doing something, my family tries to guilt trip me into doing something else? in reference to this event, I would like to state that while I may be woefully behind in my Lost episode watching, I will never stoop to just watching the last half of an episode just to get to the next one. Nor will I skip episodes if I can avoid it. This same philosophy also applies to Supernatural.
Also, I love my family dearly, even though I could cheerfully kill them on some days.....but why oh why do they have to be so fucking overprotective??? Walking home from work would not kill me, it would in fact be beneficial to me, in that I get some exercise. Contrary to my mother and stepfathers belief, I doubt there is some psycho loony just waiting for me to walk home on backroads (that make up the majority of my hometown) so they can do whatever they will to me.
I will concede that there is a possibility, however remote, because to not realize that that possibility exists would just be stupid.
Lastly, why in the nine hells do they schedule shit they want to do when they know I have to work and that we only have one working vehicle?
