(no subject)

I've been looking at some old posts of mine on a writing board, and I can't help being surprised by how eloquent I seemed to be. it also kind of hurts to read some of the things that I had written, given that I was going through a very rough time when those pieces were created. It showed.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to write like that in years. I'd love to start writing like that again. I could do without the drama and angst that was behind quite a few of those poems though. *chuckles*

I've decided to post one of the funny ones here, behind a cut. Along with a quote someone used in feedback they left me. It's apt.
A side note though: chocolate covered espresso beans are awesome!
