(no subject)

We finally closed on the house this morning! It is now officially in both my name and my mothers. it feels kind of strange knowing that I am a co-owner of my childhood home. Once upon a time, I wouldn't have even dreamed of moving out of this house...but now, I look forward to the day when I don't live here. I look forward to cleaning this place out and getting rid of unwanted/unneeded crap. I want something new. If I have to settle for this later on, then I'll settle. If only because it has a fenced in backyard big enough for my dogs to play in. :D

I really do wish it was July though...I'm looking forward to my vacation. I need a break from my workplace and the people in it. Most days it's not so bad, but then there are the days that are tiresome.
I finally got some decent sleep, so that made things a bit better. It was mostly drug induced, but that's better than what I've been getting. No waking up what seems like every two hours, and no tossing and turning. It was so nice!
