Jan. 25th, 2006 01:32 amIf the computer screen is black and the indicator light on it is orange, and pushing keys doesn't do anything, wouldn't your next logical thought be to check the tower to see if it was on?
the new lady at work did that to me tonight. she couldn't figure out why the computer wasn't doing anything. *slams head on desk* plus I'm not sure that she knows how to read. (related to other stupid questions of the day) The woman is fried. She must've killed far too many braincells back when she was young.
I also have this to add: while I respect the people that have kids, mainly because I know I wouldn't be able to do it, and I have an idea of how hard it must be, I do have to say this. My workplace is not a babysitting service or a daycare center! I don't care what the circumstances are, leave your children and grandchildren at home! They have no place being in a trucking terminal of all places! WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?
I will now go try and remove the drill bits from my temples that were put there by the shrill scream grandchild of one of my coworkers. Pity I didn't have a gag handy at the time.
