Ohmygod....I'm actually having a good weekend! I've been in a good mood for most of the weekend.

Started yesterday with my uncle's birthday party, which was held at Hacienda. Mmmm....chicken fajita chili. Yummy.

Then came today. Brokeback Mountain. I actually didn't need tissues, since I only cried a teeny bit. I'll wait until it comes out on dvd...then I can bawl to my hearts' content. If it's still playing this coming weekend, I'll be watching it again, only this time it might qualify as a GNO. There was one preview that looked excellent. Pulse. The preview alone was strongly reminiscent of White Noise. Added the release date for that to my calendar.

After BBM came Barnes & Noble. I could live in that store, I really could. I wasn't even looking for it, but as I was going around a display table of books made into recent movies (the table was dominated by the Chronicles of Narnia), I spotted the very thin book of BBM. I felt the need to read it, so I bought it. Used up my gift card on that and one other book.

And I think my half-assed diet got destroyed when I went to IHOP. Ohgod, the cinnamon apple pancakes.
Picked up Donnie Darko as well. It was hard to choose a movie, since I kept bouncing back and forth between the following: Donnie Darko, Phantom of the Opera, White Noise, and Pirates of the Caribbean (in retrospect, I think I should have gotten that one....more eye candy).

Discovered the meaning of GUH with a fic by queenbtch. O_O hothothot!! *drools*
