Good news:
1) One of my coworkers and her boyfriend is attempting to set me up on a blind date with one of his friends. I've been told that he likes to do the whole medieval dress thing, and from the way my coworker talked, he also goes to rennfaire. or at least something like it.
2) I've managed to lose 2 pounds. Over the holidays no less.
3) I picked up the new Lost book at Barnes & Noble today. It has Jack on the cover. I can't remember the title, but I do know that the first book had Kate on the cover.
4) I now own a whole two games for the Gamecube. Eternal Darkness and Paper Mario.
5) I have painkillers to get rid of the tooth pain.
Bad News:
1) I'm having trouble with a few of my teeth again. I'm experiencing pain like I was before I had that root canal. This is very not good, since I cannot possibly afford two, possibly three, root canals in addition to getting all four of my wisdom teeth pulled in a month or two. I've no idea exactly which teeth are the pain-causing ones, but I know there is one on my upper left jaw, my lower left jaw, and possibly one in the front.
2) Becky has to have a root canal.
3) Our Directv receiver isn't working that well. It continously says searching for satellite. if this isn't fixed by Wednesday and I miss Lost because of it, I will be very upset.
4) I will be very upset if I miss Supernatural on Tuesday because of it.
5) There was a driver at work claiming that I was treating him differently than everyone else. This is extremely hurtful to me, since I know damn well I treat everyone equally. My boss agreed with me, but also told me it wouldn't kill me to at least pretend to be cheerful. Yes it would.
6) Being told that it wouldn't kill me to pretend to be cheerful irks me. I refuse to change things about myself just because some people don't like it. I will continue to be opinionated, cynical, and just plain myself, and if some people don't like it, tough shit.
7) Boss also once again had the balls to say something to me about being on the phone. Boss needs to be beaten severely with a stick, since he is on the phone far more than me, more times per night and for longer periods. At least I am able to talk on the phone and work at the same time. Which is more than I can say for him. He's more like a useless appendage, since everyone knows I pretty much run the office at night. And that I do all the work. Which is true. Without me in that office, he would not be able to function.
