nothing much
Jun. 6th, 2005 12:57 amMy cousin Justin graduated from Penn today. The graduation ceremony was held at the Notre Dame JACC. Shortly after we got there and found seats (bleacher seating.....oh god did that make my ass hurt!), the orchestra started playing. Not Pomp and Circumstance.....just music to fill the time until then.
They started playing some of the score music from the Lord of the Rings.....Fellowship of the Ring to be exact. I wanted to dance in the aisle. :-P
And I nearly drove my mom and aunt into killing me, cause I kept telling them what parts of the movie the music matched up to....like they started off with the music that's playing when you first see the Shire, and when Gandalf is coming along in his cart.
And the opening music that plays when the narration by Cate Blanchett begins....and when the camera focused on each member of the Fellowship as they're climbing Carahdras (I think that's how you spell it....correct me if I'm wrong. And the scene I'm talking about is just before Frodo falls, and the ring falls off him, and Boromir picks it up, and Aragorn is all "give the ring to Frodo". Yeah....that one. :-))
And let's not forget the music that was playing while they were in Moria.....
Yeah, I think you get the picture. :-D
