(no subject)

Mom is in the hospital with a blood clot in her lung. it moved up from her leg probably around 3ish this morning.
I, not having any good sense, told my boss I'd just be in late.
My cell phone is currently disconnected. so if anyone needs to get ahold of me, they'll have to either do it by email (which I probably won't get until tomorrow) or call the house phone. If you need the house phone number, call Jen. She will be more than happy to give it to you. And if she's not, tell her I said to do it and shut up.
Yeah, I think my mood is properly expressed now.

{Edit: Apparently mom is going to be in the hospital for another three or four days. According to her doctor, who didn't get around to seeing her until this morning. *fumes* The stupid son of a bitch couldn't even return a phone call prior to the ambulance coming and picking up mom, or yesterday, when she called his office. Yeah, I know he's got other patients, but the chances of him having more than one with a blood clot in their lungs is pretty fucking low. The stupid fucker also misdiagnosed her last week, telling her she had flabitis (swelling of the veins in her leg), when it was actually a blood clot. He didn't even bother looking at other possible causes. *insert long string of curses here*}
