Bush won. Great. We're all going to hell in a handbasket. I believe Erin echoed my thoughts exactly.

"i am more concerned with the crazed people who voted for bush and his hate regime. i am more concerned with the cattle that have gone along with his legislative changes and affronts to our personal freedoms. i am offended and deeply saddened by our lack of concern as a nation for our rights."

Let's see: women are going to lose their right to choose, gays are going to lose their right to marry, stem cell research is going out the window, chrisianity is probably going to be the only "accepted" religion in the United States, more innocent people are going to die, he's going to tax us into oblivion, the elderly are going to be paying more for prescriptions, he's going to appoint really conservative supreme court judges, therefore disrupting the balance of the supreme court, the GOP has control of all the branches of government. There is nobody to check or balance the Bush Administration.
....yeah, we're going to hell.
I've heard this described as a return to Puritanical beliefs. If that's true, then I need to move out of the fucking country, cause last time the Puritans were in charge, people got hung.

Yes, I'm still pissed off about that friend of mine. And I'm probably going to stay that way for a very long time. Clint, I've already told you who. I'm just happy I had enough self restraint to not send a very nasty email or leave a very nasty voice mail. Last time I did that, my mom got a phone call from said person's mom, saying that she (my mom) had raised a horrible daughter.
